We have a great weekend of workshops scheduled for athletes, coaches and parents on Saturday/Sunday October 13/14.  Here is the complete schedule.  We apologize for the delay on Sunday, but we only recently found out that the gym was not available earlier.

DA Training Weekend Oct 13-14

Attendance is mandatory for our teams and coaches, but if you are a parent we also have a lot to offer in two sessions that you need:

  • Mental Training Considerations for Parents – Kyle Paquette had rave reviews when he conducted this session for our Ontario Winter Games Team
  • Scorekeeping – almost everyone will need to know how to keep score using an OVA score sheet.

We ask that parents RSVP so that we know numbers attending.  Please click this link to RSVP.

Accepting Applications for Regional Team Coaches

Posted in 2011-2012, Athlete Development & LTAD, Coaches on July 19, 2011 by DurhamAttack

Our regional executive is planning our Region 4 ADP program for this Fall.  The Regions have moved ADP and Regional teams out of the summer months to offload athletes who can easily become overtrained with beach and indoor programs running simultaneously, during a time when they also need some rest & recovery prior to September tryouts.

Region 4 is seeking coaches to run our girls and boys Regional Teams.  The time commitment for the Winter regional program is less than traditionally required in the summer, with a few tryouts, a limited number of practices, and Regional/Winter games.

We will post the full schedule once we have laid it out.

If you are interested please apply with a coaching resume to our Region 4 Athlete Development Chair Curtis Gilfillan at
